JR Builders has been building hand-made customized wood furnishings for many happy clients for over 30 years.

We can work from your own design ideas, ours, drawings or pictures. We mainly use hard woods and even though most of the pictures shown are oak products we also build from in any other type of solid wood, such as cherry, walnut, maple, mahogany, etc. and in many different styles – including log! We will also repair, refinish, and replicate pieces – including antiques. Besides newly built we also refinish, repair or reface cabinets.

Included is an example of an antique dresser that we restored, replicated a missing spindle and designed a new headboard to match. We replicated an accent table from a picture to match a 1901 conference table used in the U S District Court Judges Chamber. And from a pile of broken and missing pieces we put together, replicated the missing pieces and restored an antique hide-a-bed.
